Advanced Pinion Bearing Design: Designed for extended service life and operation at any operating load.
Seals: Designed with non-contacting, wear-free labyrinth air and oil seals. No buffer air is required for oil-free air. Does not require periodic replacement like carbon O-rings.
Horizontally Spilled Gearbox: Allows easy access when job site maintenance policy requires periodic inspection.
Variable Inlet Guide Vanes: Variable inlet guide vanes can offer energy savings of up to 9% when operating in turndown. The inlet guide vanes impart a rotary motion to the inlet airflow in the same direction as the impeller, reducing the amount of work required. The net energy savings can be achieved at reduced flow rates or on days cooler than the design temperature. The inlet guide vanes are positioned close to the impeller inducer to maximize performance.
